Our Team

Joseph Pickard, Jr. is the Principal, and Chief Investment Officer at Oristano Capital Management, and has over forty years of experience in the investment industry. He has served in many different capacities during that period: Prior to establishing Oristano in 2006, Joe worked at Oppenheimer & Co. as Executive Director - Investments, where he developed the global strategy that continues to be implemented at Oristano Capital. Before that, he worked in the Corporate Services Group at H&Q Securities, and prior to that he worked in the same capacity at Alex Brown & Sons. Joe first entered the brokerage business with EF Hutton & Co. where he became an integral part of the Personal Financial Management Department. After graduating Wesleyan University in Middletown CT, Joe spent three years at Bankers Trust Corp. as an assistant portfolio manager.

David Armstrong, Director of Marketing
David has been with Oristano since the firm's inception and has worked in various capacities. In his current role, Dave's primary focus is to get our story out to people who can benefit from what we have to offer and assist them in the early steps of becoming a client. Dave has almost 20 years of general business experience, 14 of which have been in the private client area. Prior to Oristano Capital, Dave was Director-Investments at Oppenheimer &Co. He is a graduate of Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.

Amy Rogala, Director of Operations
Amy runs the day-to-day operations. Prior to Oristano, Amy worked as an associate at Oppenheimer & Co., where she worked in many different capacities. She graduated from Providence College in 2003 and earned a BA in finance.
